Fair usage policy
The paid tiers are unlimited, and this page is the small print that makes that word honest - with the actual numbers in it.

Why there is a line at all
Every AI generation costs us money the moment it runs. A subscription that was genuinely uncapped could be pointed at a script and made to spend more in a night than it collects in a year, so there has to be a number somewhere. The honest thing is to publish it rather than leave "unlimited" doing work it cannot do.
If you are using imageyFX-360 by hand, you will not meet this policy. It is aimed at automation, not at people.
A heavy month of real use is around 300 credits - under Starter's fair line, and a fifth of Studio.
Nothing here touches the free visualiser
The ring, lasers, grid, spirograph, feedback, shapes, type, artwork and the recorder are free and unmetered. You can run them all night, every night, and this page does not apply. It covers only the AI tools.
What things cost
Usage is counted in credits, which track roughly what we pay our providers rather than what we charge you.

Images are the only real cost. Everything else is a text call costing a fraction of a cent.

Allowances are per calendar month and do not roll over. The meter in the AI tab shows where you are at all times, and changes colour as you approach the line - you will never be surprised by it.
What happens when you cross it
At the fair usage line, nothing stops. The meter turns and tells you where you are, and the tools keep working. That is what makes "unlimited" a real claim rather than a marketing one.
At the hard ceiling, generation pauses until the month rolls over or you move up a tier. The ceiling is twice the fair usage line and exists to stop a runaway loop, not to stop a person. If you hit it through ordinary use, write to us - we will lift it and work out what happened.
If an account sits above the fair usage line month after month, we will contact you before doing anything, and the conversation will be about which tier fits, not about cutting you off.
What is not fair use
- Driving the AI tools with a script, a bot or any interface other than the one we provide.
- Sharing one account between several people, or reselling access to it.
- Generating in bulk in order to resell the output as a dataset or a pack.
- Deliberately working around the meter, the ceiling or the billing.

If a generation fails
Credits are reserved before a call is made and returned automatically if the provider fails and nothing is delivered. You are not charged for an error.
Changes
We may adjust these numbers as provider pricing moves. If an allowance goes down, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before it affects you, and you can cancel before then under the terms.
